Community Outreach
The Compassion Center is committed to meeting our unhoused community and providing for their needs, right where they live. Our innovative mobile outreach team provides the essentials as well as critical resources and case management services to help them not only survive, but to thrive toward fulfilling their dream of a home.

Mobile Services
We provide basic needs services directly to residents at local encampments throughout the South County with the goal of reaching every single unhoused person who desires support. With a team of experienced service providers and case managers, we offer food, critical supplies, and access to services like showers, laundry, and clothing through our voucher program.
Our Outreach Service Van is outfitted with a 100-gallon mobile purified water unit that delivers fresh drinking water to refill personal drinking containers. We also continue to provide a garbage collection service that supplies residents with garbage bags and a weekly “curb-side” pick-up service, contracted by the Compassion Center.
With every visit, an on-site case manager assesses residents' needs, offers guidance, and provides referral services, including mental health treatment, legal services, job training, and vouchers for ID cards, entry into housing lists, and much, much more. Learn more about our Case Management services.

Unhoused Popup Marketplace
Our weekly “Unhoused Popup Markets" provide one-stop access to a variety of services that improve the quality of life for our unsheltered clientele. Among these are a medical van, weekly food boxes, personal portable toilets, and vouchers for laundry, and shower access they can use throughout the week.
Additionally, an on-site case manager will offer housing assessments, and referral services, including mental health treatment, legal services, job training, and vouchers for ID cards, and much, much more. Many of our popups also provide hot meals courtesy of our volunteer meal providers.
